Our Leadership team
minister elorm ocansey
Minister Elorm Ocansey is a justice-centered community minister, and serves as Chair of 4 Asbury Park CPC. He’s Principal at the Elorm Ocansey Ministry Foundation, a community service ministry focused on serving local community institutions, leaders, and members through community organizing, advocacy, pastoral counseling, and more.
Inline with his community service ministry, he volunteers with several community organizations in New Jersey, New Brunswick Area Branch NAACP, NAACP New Jersey State Conference Religious Affairs Committee, Monmouth/Ocean County National Action Network (NAN), Newark/Somerset/Union County NAN, Morris County Continuum of Care Executive Committee and more. He’s currently a student at New Brunswick Theological Seminary pursuing a Master of Divinity and Master of Art in Pastoral Care and Counseling.
ACTIVIST FELICIA SIMMONS
Felicia Simmons is a tireless community activist at heart, and serves as Treasurer of 4 Asbury Park CPC. She was twice elected to the Asbury Park Board of Education. She also serves as the President of Wcc Historic Restoration Association Inc. and President of the Monmouth/Ocean County National Action Network. She’s the founder of Proper Foundation LLC, an organization dedicated to providing information and connections to community residents to help them find solutions to the varying problems facing urban towns and cities.
She’s a devoted mother to her 20-year-old son Zachariah, who drives her to transform and unite her community as a whole. She’s also a TEDX speaker and Founder of C.U.R.E.D, Community United Response to Eliminating Disparities, bringing testing and vaccinations to the hardest hit minority communities.

4 Asbury Park CPC is a supporting partner of the Whitesboro Historic Preservation Project: A project aiming to preserve the legacy and future of Whitesboro, New Jersey by incorporating Whitesboro as its own Borough under New Jersey State Law.
